ID Reader for Protel PMS
Scanning on receptions, fast check inn
 Protel PMS supports ID Reader from the version 14.225
This is a certificated interface and the add on license need to be bought
from your local Protel distributer. The interface code is “ProtScanServer”
and this is a generic Protel IFC license which enables scanning functionality
for the single working station.
To start the scanning process press ALT + S on the keyboard of your computer.
When the scanning and reading process finishes all the textual data together with the images
will be sent to the Protel server.

Protel PMS scanning functionality enables

Scanning several documents and then inserting them one by one into the guest profiles

Scanning of single document and automatically inserting the data into to profile
When inserting the previously scanned documents it is necessary to press
the “scanning icon” in the guest profile. All the textual data will be inserted
into the appropriate fields in the guest profile.
Protel automatically save the document images directly into the
database and stores the as a part of the guest profile.
